Putting South Dakota Values to Work
A family man raised in Platte, South Dakota, Tom got his career start as a newspaper reporter in Indiana. He recently retired as executive director of the Council on College Admission in South Dakota after multiple decades of assisting the students, high schools and post-secondary schools of South Dakota with post-high school planning.
Tom lives with his wife in western Sioux Falls and is a longtime member of St. Michael Catholic Church.
A keen follower of government and political issues his whole life, Tom believes that good government starts with attention to the people it is intended to serve, not by chasing conspiracies and distractions down rabbit holes.
Tom's South Dakota upbringing instilled him with the common-sense hometown values that he lives, works and worships by. He is committed to delivering efficient, effective administrative services to our state businesses, voters, and agencies.
